Write effective leads Construct and edit news stories Analyze a magazine of their choice and present their findings to the class Form their own mini-newspaper staff and create their own 4-page newspaper.
TESTS There are three tests and one vocabulary quiz given during the semester. Tests are based on textbook chapters.
FINAL EXAM I give a comprehensive final, meaning that it covers everything we've studied during the semester. All questions are taken from previous tests, so I encourage students to keep all of their tests and use them as study guides.
SENIORS During the spring semester, all seniors in the class are expected to help produce the Senior Wills book. This activity will substitute one of the above-mentioned projects.
